HVACKER ("we", "our", "us") operates the HVACKER mobile and web applications (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Service.

- Account Data: Email address, name, and password when you create an account via Supabase authentication.
- Device Permissions: Camera and location data are requested only when needed to scan HVAC equipment labels or show nearby suppliers. No video or location data is stored on our servers.
- Usage Data: Non-identifiable analytics such as device type, app version, and crash logs to improve performance.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide core functionality such as scanning, search, and local availability.
- To authenticate users and sync saved data via Supabase.
- To improve the Service and troubleshoot technical issues.
3. Data Storage and Security
User data is securely stored on Supabase servers using encrypted connections (HTTPS + TLS). We do not sell or rent personal information. Access is restricted to authorized personnel for maintenance only.
4. Third-Party Services
HVACKER may integrate trusted third-party providers:
- Supabase – authentication and data hosting.
- Stripe – secure payment processing (for subscriptions).
- OpenAI / AI APIs – image or text recognition for part identification.
Each provider has its own privacy policy governing data handling.
5. Your Choices
- You may update or delete your account anytime within the app or by contacting support.
- You may disable camera or location access in device settings (some features may not function).
6. Children's Privacy
HVACKER is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision.
